i have a file called DVDRW_01.DVR which was burned to a DVD from a CCTV camera , it contains footage of a break in and i really need to get it converted to something watchable so i can see it on my pc..
ive searched the forums and not come up with anything useful, ive found its not the same as a .dvr-ms file, as a converter for this sort of file or player wont work for me, i also tryed using gspot on it but gspot dosnt recognise it..
i read a guide on another forum about using SUPER to convert it to an avi, this however didnt work either..
im kinda at a loss here, i dont know what the make of the CCTV camera was that recorded it, though i could probably find out..
tryed the basic stuff like renaming the extension to .avi etc to no avail. gomplayer, kmplayer, vlcplayer cant play it at all... anyone any ideas..?

if it belonged to you, you would have the software and password to view and export it. so without that you're probably not going to find anything to decrypt it.
