  1. Hello my name is John Prassas. I have currently put a music track of our band on our web site for fans to download and remix.

When my band and I were on tour we video taped our tour. However I thought that something like this for fans would be fun to do as well. Is there much software that is affordable that people can download and create there own video mix with all of our video footage?

    Thank you
    John

You need to consider just how you will deliver the video as well, as this will influence which software you might recommend.

It is always going to be a trade off between quality, size, and ease of editing. Good quality takes a lot of space, and codecs that compress well tend not to be edit friendly.

For a start you need to look at how you intend to host the video, and what bandwidth you have available.

  6. I plan to host it on our web site - which currently is only using about 6% o all the band with we are given.

I was thinking to go to a friends house to add the footage into Adobe premier. I would then export all the video files (exact same length) so that people could load them into there video editor. - Much like a music remix.

Most of these would probably be posted on www.youtube.com where kids seem to post there own video remixes allready.
