    OK..... I'VE USE MY LAPTOP TO MY LCD TV MORE THEN ONCE, USING VGA....... TODAY WHEN I HOOKED IT UP.... I GOT THE XP LOGIN SCREEN ON MY TV...... THEN....... "NO SIGNAL".... BLUE SCREEN... CHECKED CONNECTIONS.... ALL OK.. TRIED AGAIN... SAME RESULTS... ANY SUGGESTIONS??????? THANK YOU.... TIFFANY

    TIFFANY, JUST FOR YOUR INFORMATION, ALL CAPS IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING AND IN BAD TASTE, AND WON"T GET YOU MANY REPLIES.

    But to your question. What video card are you using? Your problem sounds like something in the video card settings. BTW, did you turn on your TV before booting your computer? That's the usual procedure.

    Most laptops have a key command that allows you to switch between three different display modes.
    1. Just displays on the laptop
    2. Just displays on the device plugged into the VGA port
    3. Displays on both
    I think that on my IBM laptop, I hold down the blue Fn key and press the F7 key. On my IBM the F7 key has two small blue pictures that look like a laptop and an external monitor. Try to figure out what the combination is on your laptop.
