Greetings all. I've been a lurker/reader of VideoHelp for years now & have found the posts to be VERY helpful. I've decided to give a little back & write up a How-to guide for creating backups/converting DVDs to MKV with FairUse Wizard 2.8 (Free/Full version).
It's not perfect & I'm sure, as always, some will point out the obvious "this way's better"--and, there certainly are some; but, it will hopefully help some get their feet wet.
I'm including my guide in the form of an attached PDF. Not sure how else to do it. Hope it works!
PS- this guide covers converting a main title dvd to a VC-1/AC3 Encoded MKV file. It also covers the steps for TV Series DVD conversions to the same format.
Ozzy
