I was just experimenting cycling digital pics with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and recorded it with CamStudio.
The resulting avi file was massive and I did not have sound with it as I did not have miscrophone active.
Can anyone informed please advise apps that will cycle digital pics and store accompanying spoken commentary from a micrphone with the cycling pics in some format that is reasonaly compact and shows pics at reasonable resolution.
Appreciate any advice.
It is all here on this site.
I had not heard of CamStudio that could do this sort of thing until a week ago and find that there is comprehensive discussion of it on this site.
Great site.

Try something like Microsoft Photostory 3, it will produce a slideshow in WMV format which can be quite small with reasonable quality. Here's a link to it on the Microsoft site
