Pioneer Plasma PDP-434CMX & Panasonic DVD-S100EG-S sync problem?

Plasma Display PDP-434CMX with Video Card PDA-5004 bought in the US end of 2004, so far used with YUV cable, now connected new Panasonic DVD player SD with HDMI output (DVD-S100EG-S) to the Plasma input 2, DVI-D but no signal??? The input 2 / DVI-D does not support HDCP, but when the DVD-player play's a regular DVD and just upscales the signal, I am sure there is no HDCP activ???

Thanks jagabo! I will check it out with Panasonic and let you know! I assumed that HDCP (high def content protections) is only activ if a HD signal is detected...but that might be wrong...to bad!
