First of all I must apologise if this question as been posted countless times. I have searched the site for some information but because i am unsure what I am looking for it is hard to find the right answers.
OK I have some home movies that I want to convert so that they play on a standard home DVD player. I also have a few TV shows that I have recorded via my TV media that I wish to transfer to.
The home movies have just been downloaded to my PC from the camcorder. I first of all tried to burn them direct to a DVD which as I found out will not work on my DVD player.
I am really looking for freeware software that will help me convert the files ready to be burned to a DVD. I have been told I need to convert the files to a Video_TS file?
Is there a free all in one software that will do the job from start to finish? (will convert the files to the correct type of file) and then burn it ready to be playable on a DVD player. Or two pieces of software again free that will do the jobs for me.
Many thanks for the help
