    Hello,

I'm trying to convert the VOB files on a DVD to .MOV files or something similar. I'm using FFMPEGX on Mac OS X.

The DVD has 5 VOB files on it and 1-3 and 5 all worked perfectly fine.

When I tried to convert 4, however, I got the error:

Codec type mismatch for mapping #0.0 -> #0.0

NDB, I've seen this before - so I click "Invert Mapping" in the audio tab and I think I'm good to go.

For whatever reason though now the .mov has a terrible frame rate (like 4 / second) - its really jumpy and choppy.

Please help! What can I do to fix this?

Please let me know if you need any other details.

You shouldn't convert each original VOB, but rip each Video Title Set to its own concatenated VOB and convert that. It should eliminate the error and also give you non-segmented feature(s). Your 4th VOB probably is a continuation of the 3rd VOB. Then they should be joined and converted as one.
