    My pc monitor just started crapping out. It works for a second then goes black. It will do this repeatedly if you power it off/on.different monitors work fine.this does the same thing on other pcs. should i throw it out?

    Could be a bad power supply??? Have you checked the power supply, and video cable? If they're good, then it's going bad.

    This might sound daft, but have you connected the right power supply for that particular monitor? I had this exact problem, because I had confused the monitor power cord with the one for my speakers.
