Hello I hate to bother y'all with such a small thing, but I can't figure out how to do a "One Touch Recording" or "Segment Record" on the Toshiba RD-XS35.
That's where you usually press the Record button repeatedly to have the recording stop at 30min, 1hr, 90 min, 2 hrs etc.
I can't figure that simple thing out on the Toshiba and I need to use that feature. It says nothing about it in the manual that I can find.
Does anyone know? It must be able to it. It does everything else in great detail.
Also how do I enter channels manually? The TV Guide system only finds a few channels with my cable. I can tune them in if I input the channel number but I can't go up and down to bring them in. Better yet how do I get the TV Guide to find the other channels? It only found a few from Ch.3-24 and I left in on overnight for some days.
Thanks!

I don't have that recorder, but on my Toshiba recorders I use quick menu to set the stop time. Then if I want the recorder to shut down after recording stops, I use quick menu again and select auto power off.

Sounds like it is only scanning for TV (broadcast) channels and not cable channels.
