Is anyone else having trouble using DVDFab HD Decrypter for these two movies? It will not even recognize Shoot Em Up and 310 To Yuma locks up while being ripped to the hard drive. This is the only program I have ever used and have never had any trouble.

    Thanks,
    Rob

Downloading the latest DVDFab HD Decrypter 4.0.3.2 will recongnize Shoot Em Up, but I'm also having lock up problems with 310 To Yuma.

    Hi,
Just backed up Shoot Em Up with latest AnyDVD and DVD Decrypter with no issues. It's just a matter of time until either DVD HD Decrypter or AnyDVD catch up with 310 to Yuma.

I just tried CloneDVD2 on 310 To Yuma, which appears to be working.

  5. AnyDVD already handles 3:10 to Yuma as it should without any need for an update.

To confirm CloneDVD2 backed up 310 To Yuma without a problem. AnyDVD did not work.

  7. You can use the latest DVDFab HD Decrypter (Version 4.0.4.0 Beta) to rip the Full Disc of 3:10 To Yuma. Run the Full DVD of the files you ripped through FixVTS. You can put the newly fixed DVD into DVD Shrink and backup the DVD any way that you'd like (movie only, full disc, whatever). Hope this helps.

Surprisingly...after DVDFab HD Decrytper failed, I tried the last version of RipIt4Me and it worked!
It had one error during the process, which I told it to ignore and I ended up with a fully functional disc.
    Go figure!

This was last Friday and I didn't have the newest Beta of DVDFab.

  11. I can't get 3:10 to Yuma to shrink using DVD Shrink. I am trying to backup the movie and nothing else and it's still too big. I have never experienced this before, anyone have any suggestions?

  13. I was actually able to do 310 to Yuma using RipIt4Me then DVD Decrypter after the latest version of DVD HD Decrypter gagged on it. Burned to DL DVD with no problems. This was the day the movie came out, actually.

The demise of RI4M's usefulness is much exaggerated, I'd say. I continue to get good results with it, even on some titles that are recent enough that one might not expect it to work. It's good to have a lot of tools in your toolbox -- you never know when one or another of them might come in handy. I wouldn't completely or categorically write off SmartRipper, either.

I used Ripit4Me on this title, using wizard mode, and creating a psl file to rip from. It worked fine.

Why nevermind? This is exactly the problem I am having.
