Hello.
I have the "new" Microsoft Office 2007 WORD software. It is doing something strange.
When I write something using WORD I then print it out. When it prints out there is a wide light grey section on the right that takes up 1/4 of the page's space. It extends from the top of the page to the bottom. So the print is considerably smaller than it would normally be. How do I stop WORD from printing out that way?
Other question - How do I get WORD to print out page numbers at the bottom of each page?
Thank you
Bryam Kendall

page numbers - click the insert tab/header and footer group/page numbers.

other problem - never heard of that one. maybe try running office diagnostics from the word options menu.--

Make sure your page layout settings match the printer's settings (i.e., same page size, orientation etc)

Without seeing it, the printing problem may have to do with tracking changes. Make sure you print the "final without markup" (this is for Word 2003, it may be called something else for 2007).
