  1. edit: need help saving my video to the best format(s) for authoring a dvd. using Ulead studio editor.
I don't have the dvd burner so I need to save my file to a friendly format so I can have my friend burn it for me.
I want to have alternate audio channels that one can switch to during play. and a little menu.
    HELP! thanks

I've got my videos uploaded to myspace and imbedded to my page. they look fine moving on. here's the rest of my post from last night:

    ----------------------------------------------------------

I have made my first music video in ulead and need to know what the best format for saving the file would be.

my video is 22 minutes long and the audio is the most important thing. I'd like that to be at least 192 mp3 stereo. it's 3 songs and can be split into 3 or 4 seperate files if need be. image quality is less important. it's meant to look lo-fi and pixelated. I'd rather it be somewhat smooth when streaming - lot's of slo-motion.

I want to do a few things with it.

upload it (all or in 3-4 files) to myspace video or youtube so I can embed it on my myspace and virb music pages. (I will need my virb/myspace pages to still load up at a decent speed).
it will have to be 100 MB or less and in a compatible codec
export it to a file format that would be ready for uploading to mediafire (less than 100MB) so that I can offer a download link on my myspace/virb pages.

burn it to SVCD (or VCD if it is more compatible and the image and sound wouldn't be affected) so that I can show it around at friends houses during the holidays.

export it to a file format that would be prime for burning to DVD on someone else's computer
    - optional: give it alternate audio and a menu

I have nero burning rom, a slow computer (pentium 3 - 733 mhz) so it will take a while to save in any format, and high computer literacy

    thanks for all help!!!

Seems like you're running all around the place at once - it's hard to follow what you really want to do.
Start with creating the DVD. That's the best quality output for us mortals (disregarding HD formats).
From the DVD you can create the lesser formats like SVCD, VCD and streaming formats.
I know nothing about MySpace videos, but as far as YouTube goes, YouTube always reencode what you upload, so what you upload doesn't matter, as long as YouTube accepts it.

  3. the question is - what file format and quality settings should I use to export my video - SO THAT I can then burn it to DVD. there is no export to dvd. the screenshot in the first post shows ulead's saving options.

the myspace format as I've already stated is done.
