Need help with TMPEGNC (movie freezes)

i have use TMPEGNC before to encode two different movies (SHREK AND BRIDGET JONES DIARY) But yesterday when i tried to encode Americas sweethearts (also an avi file) TMPEGNC frezees at 61% and i can´t do anything....anyone know what this can be?? i´m really mad because i have just start encoding my movies and everything went smooth until now....

Same thing happens to me but not every time I encode and not always at the same percentage - another bug seems to be that TMPEnc encodes until 99% finished and then puts up an error message. After rebooting I find that the movie is 100% saved where I want it to be anyway.

What format are those movies in? The only time TMPGENC crashed was when I tried to encode a movie which was in WMV1 or WMV2.... when you play your original movie in WinMediaPlayer does it buffer for a second or two? if so, it might be labelled an mpg or avi, but is really a .wmv film...
