    when ever i play one of the movies i have ripped on my hdtv it likes makes like a new black wide screen bar so there is a dark black bar then a light black bar y does this happen

    One of the bars is encoded into the video and the other is added by the player. The fact that they're not the same color black (one is really dark grey) just means your TV hasn't been calibrated. Calibrate it.

    By the way, are you talking about 2 different colored bars both above and below the movie? Are these movies also of the wrong aspect ratio? That is, do people look short and fat? If so, go into your player's setup and have it output for a 16:9 or widescreen TV set.

    And learn to write correctly. Is that how your teachers taught you to write in school?
