  1. Should I buy the region 1 or region 2 box sets?

Both regions are being released at about the same time.

The region 1 sets will be in the pure ntsc format which they were originally filmed in.

The region 2 sets will have been converted in the PAL format and will be slighty edited.

    What do you think?

  2. I suppose it depends upon if you're in a PAL region or not.

  3. I wouldn't be asking the question if i wasn't in a PAL area.

I have imported NTSC Star Trek Next Gen laserdiscs before and they look better than the pal versions.

For a start the sound sounds normal in ntsc. In PAL the soundtrack is slighty speed up.
