I have some wav files downloaded from a camera. I want to import them to director mx. Director tells me it has problems importing them. I went to BESWEET and tried converting from wav to mp3. I get an error saying it is an unknown file format. What? the file IS a wav I know I downloaded it from my camera.

Could this be something to do with bitrate. Does anyone know another encoder that can do BESWEET's job.

    Peace

EDIT: I'm using VISTA if that makes a difference.

Open it in Goldwave, or another audio editor. If it opens, save it as a "normal", 16 or 24 bit PCM wav. Remember that the wav format, like avi, is a container that can carry many different types of encoded audio.
