I am using the Dazzle Digital Video Creator to capture to MPEG1 using the VCD template, but when I go to burn a VCD using Nero, I get a compatability error. I reencode the Dazzle capture using TMPGEnc and then NERO doesn't give me any errors. It's a fairly long process though, about a 2.5:1 time ratio. Are there some adjustments I can make in Dazzle to make it fully compatible so I can save time without reencoding?
I've made VCDs without reencoding the capture, and the only difference I've noticed in playback is that the audio drops after I fast-forward on incompatible videos. The audio resumes after I stop the VCD and then resume on my Pioneer player.
Thanks.
