    i would like to convert my video files STRAIGHT to flv for youtube. Is it possible to do with Nero 7? I already have ffdshow installed if that helps. Or even Virtualdub?

    sorry redwudz, and i know that site guns1inger, i've been using that trick for a while...but are you sure there's no way to do AVI to FLV using nero and ffdshow?

    Your biggest hurdle is the fact that FFDShow is first and foremost a DECODER, so I don't believe you can use it to ENCODE video, regardless of your (dubious) choice of front-end

    your right..thanks for helping, it was for youtube...another thing i would like to know is how the hell to do over 10min limit. I thought it was only allowed by older accounts but this guy was able to do it and he joined yesterday
