I'm helping someone get DVDfab working and we're trying to convert a DVD for play on a Zen Vision:M but after DVDFab rips and converts the file and we transfer to the Zen, I get video, but it says "Audio format not supported." On top of the the Creative Video Converter won't work on the file created by fab (it's an XviD file). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    (preferrably with the fewest steps)

    TIA
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.

As a former Vision:M user, It should take Xvid files without a hitch. Check what the audio settings are in DVDFab.

BTW, if you use the standard DivX encoder that comes with the codec, you can change the .divx file extension to .avi and the Vision:M should take it.

Also, you should definitely stay away from Creative's tool to convert files. I used AutoGK and simply set it up for a 1-CD encode with a 320x240 size. I don't think I had a single problem with needing to reencode before syncing.
