  1. Hi,

I have problem with subtitle playing DivX. First, I can't change stupid comic font.
Second, it doesn't display numbers, just empty spaces instead of numbers.

Is there some hack or firmware for this?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, im from Portugal and I have the Same exact Problem.

The .srt subtitles dont display numbers, only if I use the "Subtitle Workshop" program to convert .SRT to .SMI ... its a shame, because 99% of subtitles on Divx movies are .SRT

And Since I bought this DVD Player, im looking for a new firmware with other font type, without luck, so hope if anybody have the solution for that, post here please...

Teh subtitle font is controlled by the firmware as you have both noted. However, I have never seen a firmware update or any player that changes the font. So if this is that big of an issue to you, it's time to look for another player.

No, I have other DVD player, the LG-T250SC ( Home Cinema ) who plays DivX to, and I found ( very hardly ) other firmware for that player with bigger and different font type, because when I bought that player, the big problem on DivX was the font size, too small.

I only bought a new DivX player because the samsung isnt expensive, and play very fine DivX movies, and the "image feet" much better then the LG, specially the 2.35:1 aspect ratio. on LG the "black bars" are much more bigger then the movie.. lol... playing divx.. of course, so I use the Samsung to play DivX, and the LG to Play DVD, and have Region Free.
