    Hi There.

I hope someone here can help me out. What I need to do is achieve the following.

I need to have a machine, which will record 3 different radio stations simultaneously, and later in the day, record 2 TV channels.

I was told I'd need 3 capture cards, which I have.

I am also very confused on which Software I should use. Will Hyper Media Center do the trick? Or is there something else you guys (or gals) suggest?

I also have a rough Idea of the system I will need, and it is this:

    [b]Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-EP41-UD3L
    CPU- Intel Dual Core E7500 @ 2.66Ghz
Ram- 4Gb Corsair XMS Kit 800Mhz
    HDD- 500Gb Hitachi 7200 RPM
    Case/ Tower- Antec NSK 4480B-11
Display- BenQ G2402 Full HD 1080p
    DVD- BenQ 22X DVD r/w
    Graphics Card- HIS ATI 4350 512Mb DDR2 64Bit
    Sound- Onboard 3D Audio
Input- Genius Keyboard & Mouse Combo
Operating System- Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit

The 3 capture cards are Unicenter R11 Remote Control Video Capture adaptors

I am in desperate need of help, so, just like in the 5th element, Please... Help!

    Thanks in advance,

    Ginetti.

Do you have windows 7 64 bit drivers for these cards ?

Do these cards have tuners (either FM or TV) ?

    Hi guns1inger,

Yes, in the back of the cards there is a TV antenna socket and one for Radio. I can plug both into the wall, as we have specific wall sockets for TV and Radio (Because people in the building like to plug their radios into the wall for much clearer reception)

However, if this card does not seem adequate, I am all for being recommended a card.

Also a question: I understand with 3 cards i can capture from 3 different sources (3 different radio, or 2 TV and 1 radio at the same time for example)

I am needing information on which software to use. I have tried out hypermedia centre, but I only had 1 card installed at the time. When I tried to capture 2 tv channels at once, it said "Cannot be done, conflict in scheduling"

Check GBPVR, SageTV and BeyondTV for FM radio support. Use the cards recommended in their system requirements.

Thanks for all the help thus far.

I think I understand the situation a little clearer now. Am I right in assuming that to record upto 3 channels simultaneously, i'll need 3 capture cards. And that most the software will allow multipule recording of channels simultaneously?

    Cheers,

    Gineti.

Yes for multiple TV channels. Some cards have multiple tuners.

    I'm not sure for radio.
