So is it possible that there are some Winbond Musteks out there
with firmware version 150001 (the one with macrovision off/on
control) instead of 20xxxx ?

Can everyone with a Winbond Mustek 520/560/562 check their
firmware number? (Or anyone who uses the following region hack!)

Use the region hack:

Setup,Vol+,Vol-,Vol+,Vol-
You should see VER#1 or VER#2 etc..
press <- or -> to VER#255 for region free..
BUT press MUTE for firmware number

If your number is anything but 20xxxx,
try pressing up to see VER 3001 or 4001
use <- -> to change to 3000 or 4000
Is macrovision gone?

If so, we need your firmware somehow!!
