I'm looking for a solution with video pass through for HD content (720p specifically). The only 2 cheap solutions that I have found is the HAVA and the SlingBox Solo (which has built in component inputs). While I have a Hauppauge PVR-150, after watching some videos of the HAVA Wireless HD video tests, it seems to have a better recording quality (at a larger resolution). The Wireless HD has also a TV Tuner, however, I don't know if that's really needed.
The reason i need the video pass through is because I want to pass through an HD connection from an Xbox 360 into a TV, and it would be nice to have the function of rewind/stop/record (since I don't have any tivo any my house). However, alot of people report they have problems with the Hava, but this is all before the new firmware updates came out... So I do not know if they still exist.
Anyway... What are the pros and cons of each?
