    Here is the newbie questions....

    1st
Is there a program or player that will play multiple formats?

I have a few favorite items that I like to show people.
    1 - is a .mov format and 1 - is .avi format.

I would like to play these both at the same time instead of having to play each seperately.
If I need to convert then that is not a problem just will have to learn.

    2nd

Is there a player that will play 3 seperate files of the same format.
load 3 avi file and run back to back.
If this program has drag and drop features it would be perfect.

  2. You can start up multiple instances of some players. Like MPC, KMPlayer, VLC, mplayer2 (comes with WMP). You may have to enable multiple instances in the players' options. Of course, you have to sync the players yourself when doing this.

AviSynth has the ability to open multiple sources and stack them vertically and/or horizontally. You can then use any player to display the results.

VLC plays most formats - so does MPC with the right codecs installed.
