    I have been using windows movie maker for editing my videos but then i found it to be very troublesome and the features are limited.Can anybody suggest me a FREEWARE that is used to edit videos?Like cutting,joining,animations and stuff like that?A good one,please.

    There isn't really a freeware application that does it all.

    Simple assemble editing can be done in Virtualdub or AVI Demux, or avisynth if you are adventurous.

    Titles and effects can be done in WAX2 or ZS4, and then edited in later using one of the above.

    If you want a low cost, reliable editor, look at Ulead Video Studio, Vegas Movie Studio or Premiere Elements. All are good, solid beginner to intermediate products that can edit, do titles and filters and some basic effects, and output quality video or DVDs. You wont find anything free that matches them.

    I got Ulead's VS v9 bundled with a firewire card and even the firewire itself from Newegg for a whole $9
