I have an Adobe After Effects 5.5 installed on a Win2K SP4 machine with all the necessary codecs/compressors.
I'm rendering a sequence of targa files into a Quicktime movie using an Avid DNxHD compression.
On the Output Module/Compression Setting of the AE 5.5, I have the following settings:
Compressor - Avid DNxHD Codec
Depth - Millions of Colors
Color Level - 709
Resolution - 1080p/23.976 DNxHD 1.75 8-bit
Frames Per Second - 24
When I render the sequence of targa files into quicktime and played the output quicktime movie and check the Movie info, it says "DNxHD RGB" instead of "DNxHD 709". But if I render the same sequence of targa into quicktime using a machine with a Win XP and AE 5.5 on it (with the same settings as mine), it shows the correct info of "DNxHD 709".
Does anybody know what could be the cause of this? Does the Win2K have an effect on this?
thanks very much
