  1. Not sure if you guys would be able to help on this. I just got a new iMac, and the game The Movies. When I go to install the game, it says it has 334 files to install and it gets down to 86 and stays there for a while, then it says there was an error creating the folder, then tells me I do not have access to install the game and then stops.

Not sure what this means or what to do about it, can anyone help?

  3. I was able to install the game, but when I go to load it I get a window with buttons, but no text or pictures. I click on the button that is highlighted and then it tells me that the application has quit unexpectedly

@ The Monkees: Please use a subject that describes your issue. You can change the "Not Sure If This is Where This Goes" to something that describes your issue, like "Problem installing Mac game".
And - Mac questions in the Mac forum.

The user installing should be an admin, just in case the installer uses sudo. Can you find the .log file for the failed install and post it here? Users/user name/Library/Logs/Crash Reporter

  7. I don't know what's causing this problem now. Like I said I got it installed, but it's like the window doesn't load everything since there is no text just buttons.

  8. My friend mentioned to me that maybe since I just installed Leopard that may be the problem.

At this point, if you just installed Leopard, you should boot
from the Leopard Disc, and run the Disc Utility to repair
    permissions on the hard drive.

Following that, I'd try re-installing the game as it sounds like
permissions got messed up in the Leopard install,
and needed to be fixed BEFORE you did anything else.
