Hi guys. Took lots video clips at a wedding with my ipad, about 60, as MOV files which is the normal ipad format I believe, lengths approx 30 secs to 45 secs roughly. Trying to join them together on a dvd, or across 2 dvd's, with chapters at regular intervals, or at each clip so it can skip forwards. Tried some programs as suggested on the forums but nothing seems to work. Tried dvdFlick, AVStoDVD, convertXtoDVD. I end up with a dvd that plays all the way through without chapters working, or skipping forward only within the 'clip' , but not to the end of the clip/title or the next one, tried putting a title menu as offered in dvdflick and when that dvd is played and menu is pressed, it flashes the menu screen for few seconds and disappears before you can do anything. Getting really and truelly frustrated and finding that these programs don't seem to work, or am I doing something wrong. Help greatly appreciated as I'm wasting dvd's. Thanks.

  2. Perhaps try DVDStyler and start by making a DVD folder structure or an ISO for test.

Thanks for the reply videobruger, I will give that a try in a while. Can you please elaborate on the "make a dvd folder structure or an iso for a test" advise please ? Why is it so many programs do not do what they claim to do though ?

  4. When you hit the burn icon select "just generate" or "create iso image".

These can be testet in a software player and the physical disc isn't burn until the DVD work as intended.

Almost every comment about DVDStyler refers to a ton of malware that gets installed with this program. Is this true ? It has me worried.

  6. In the current x32 installer version you'll have to deselect "Browser Security".

Videobruger, absolute genius !!! It worked like dream, menus and chapters exactly like a dvd should be, spot on ! Many thanks. My conclusion, the other mentioned programs absolutely useless for the purpose compared to DVDStyler. One observation, your screen grab above, re the browser security/malware, this screen did not come up on mine but went straight into install (version 3.0.2). Scanned with spybot but nothing came up. Why, is that a different version ?, and should I be worried ? Again, many thanks for your advise.

  8. I don't think the screen comes with the portable version only for the installer version.

Wasn't the portable version, was the latest 3.0.2 Beta version October 2016, the very top one that your link takes you to. I'm happy with the result, just a nagging worry, peace of mind thing.
