dvd author quit error

I have been trying to make a DVD, with no success, and I constantly have been getting an dvd author quit error.
Never have I had this problem with ffmegX, as it has always worked but I remembered that I am now on Leopard.
Anyhow I have copied the report that Leopard wanted to send to Apple and here it is , if anyone can make sense of this , I would appreciate it.

I am using a 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo -Mac, with 3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

I must add that this has also happened with MovieGate too. Also, ffmegX tells me it has finished and it does create a Video TS folder, however the folder is always empty, same as MovieGate does. I imagine it is something to do with Leopard as it never happened with Tiger, but I am not an expert.
