Hi all, my problem is that after burning movies onto discs using windows cd burning wizard, when playing them back on standalone dvd player they are only about two thirds of my Tv screen size and i have a thick black border down one side, i think this has something to do with device settings/picture size, but as a complete novice, i have no idea how to correct this.....i am usind a Sony DVD RW DW Q120A and the windows cd burning wiz, i have tried to find the settings for the Sony but to no avail, i get as far as properties but there is no section for changing final pictue size.....can anyone help?

mpeg files? We still need more information about them. Video resolution/frame size? mpeg1? mpeg2?
mpeg playback on standalone dvd players may be different from dvd player to dvd player. It would best to convert to a real dvd-video if you want it to work best. -
Read What is DVD (top left corner) to understand what is required.
Use g-spot to verify what you have, and to see if it matches.
If is does, you can use GUIForDVDAuthor to create a DVD from the mpg files.
If it doesn't, try FAVC for conversion nd DVD creation.Read my blog here.
