I noticed JVC no longer lists any VCR's on their Americas website. I still have my 9911 but wanted to buy another similar model for backup.
B&H lists a JVC SR-MV55US and on the front of it, it says, hehe... "Professional" and "TBC". I don't "buy" that, but doesn't anyone know if this VCR has the same noise filters has the 9800/9911 series?

I haven't seen the JVC 9000 series on eBay in awhile (don't check often though) but I have seen many Panasonic AG1980s which a lot of posters here seem to really like.

What about the higher-end JVC D-VHS models. I looked at their manuals, and they also have the same noise reduction features as my 9911.
How about this one by JVC? It's a new DVHS model and has what JVC calls a new 3D noise reduction which doesn't cause ghosting.
