Anyone have any idea how much these are worth? I know a lady who has about 12 shrink wrapped Beatles albums she's been holding for the last 40 years and wants to get rid of them, not necessarily to make profit. I don't know what albums these are, but apparently they're original pressings. Needless to say I about sh*t my pants when I heard about this. I was hoping somebody on here is a music aficionado and could speculate on what a fair offer would be or what you think market value would be, assuming they're in very good to excellent condition. Thanks!

Quick look at e-bay shows most albums around the $30 range, they all appear to be used. I'd imagine the origianl shrink wrap adds a lot of value, there's a liting here for 7 sealed LP's and a few others at $5000

You need to find out what you have, you might have 12 $30 albums and one $10,000 one. I'd suggest going to used record dealer, pretend to be looking for such albums and see what he tells you. If I remember correctly wasn't there a Beatles album where the cover had to be redone?

Thecoalman is right, you need to find out what you have.

Original shrink wrapped means facotry sealed. Factory sealed can mean significanlty more $$.

For example, factory sealed oop (out of print) dvd's can go for $200, while opened ones may only go for $50 - $80. Same is true for most collectibles with original packaging.

Yep....it's known as the "butcher" cover I believe....not because of a butchered job on the re-cover but I think the cover depicted the Beatles as butchers.

Oh...and if you want to talk to an honest Beatles collector....call Jerry's Records in Pittsburgh and ask for (little) John. HE is the guy you need to talk to.
