Help dowloading and conveting you tube videos.

I have downloaded the mozila add-on and I have downloaded a you tube video. I went to import to Windows Movie Maker but they don't accept flv files. So then I converted it to an avi file. Now Win Moive Maker says

"The file C:\Documents and Settings\Thad\My Documents\0 Prep File 0\Video\Downloads\Converted\cvt_reggie_bush.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again."

I have no clue how to install the codec. What would you recommend doing?

Use WinFF to convert the Flash files after you have downloaded them. What do you plan to do with the movies?

I'm looking to get some highlight films of football players and make a cut up with it.

You can choose wmv file output, in that case, since you plan to add clips using the Windows Movie Maker.
