I am considering Sony's FCB-H10 block camera for a particular application. This camera outputs HD video in analog YPbPr (1080i) format. I am looking at two modes of operation for this camera: the first is one in which the video signal is carried over a long cable (possibly undergoing intermediate conversion for optical transmission over fiber) and recorded using a desktop PC and/or some sort of desktop recording device appropriate to the format at the far end. The second mode entails some sort of capture apparatus running on an embedded controller with local storage. Due to the nature of the application, space is limited, so I would need hardware that is PC/104 or a compact format along those lines for the embedded mode.
My question is: what hardware is available to capture or record an analog 1080i video signal? PC cards? Desktop boxes? PC/104? Any solution might be a possibility. A quick internet search didn't reveal anything promising, so I am posting this with the hope that someone with relevant experience could steer me in the right direction. I don't know much about cameras / video / video hardware.

The new ATI TV Wonder™ 650 Combo PCI Express now has componet inputs, aside from that, I'm not sure of any others.
