Ok I just figured the best place to ask a question was here:

I want to backup all of my dvd's in (preferrably) XviD format. After I've backed them up in XviD format, I want to burn some of the dvd's to DVD-R, I don't want to burn them ALL, just some. I tried to use CloneDVD to rip the DVD files to my hard drive, which worked, but I tried to burn the file and it was too big, so I guess I'll just have to rip as xvid then run the files through ConvertXtoDVD.

I dont know, what would you suggest?
    What's the best/fastest/easiest DVD to XviD ??
    -- Thanks --

My favorites AutoGK and FairUse Wizard but they are probably not the fastest.

But if you want to make dvdrs I would instead convert from the dvd to dvdr directly with for example clonedvd, dvd shrink, dvd rebuilder because if you first convert to xvid you will lose more video quality then going directly to dvd.

I don't use CloneDVD, but rip to HDD then use AUtoGK or FairUseWizard for DVD to Xvid avi....I'm not saying it's "the best/fastest/easiest DVD to XviD" ,but it works for me.....

Sorry Baldrick, just beat me by 4 sec....
