    I want to start my own company with selling rare films ( music aswell ), but i need to know the laws as i want everything above board. can anyone put me on the right track.

    Just DVDs, VHS, and CDs of rare stuff, that what you mean? So you'd be like a used record store for rarities? No law against that, if you can actually get ahold of all the stuff legally...

    I would take an appointment with an attorney and ask. Especially since you're in the UK, people from the US and Canada (like myself) can't help you. I don't know the exact law for this business but it's more than what you can sell.

    yeah, more of dvds and vhs, maybe lps. thanks, now i can start to get things moving in time for christmas.
