Just curious, after seeing the thread related to "Save Me" on VHS - and the possible scammers that sell on ebay. What are your rarest finds? The ones that I've managed to collect over the years on VHS:
Carbine Williams - (1951) - movie - James Stewart - Released by Warner Brothers on DVD in 2009 on DVD-R media. Still better
quality than the VHS copies that were available for $30 on ebay (many recorded from TV - and poor ones at that).
Chiefs (1983) - miniseries - currently there is a Region 2 release floating about.
Celebrity (1984) - made for TV
The Final Countdown (1980) - movie - later released on DVD
It's A Bundyful Life (1992) - TV - Married...With Children
Masada (1981) - movie
Snow White - original VHS in exceptional condition, shrink wrapped upon receipt. Yes, I know there are DVDs of this one.
Song of the South (1946) - movie - Laserdisc to DVD
I once considered purchasing Centennial, but am glad that I waited. It was released on DVD, and the purchase price dropped to $40 a copy - with DVD quality. I can only say this: When considering purchasing a "collectible" movie, read, research and be careful. Alot of people cannot tell the difference between a 7.0 conversion and a 10.0 release on DVD - and give these sellers an excellent review.
