    what do you mean by "rip divx".
    the DIVX is moast likely a rip itself.
    you can encode it to (S)VCD if thats what you want to know.

  5. they use to but a year ago the company stop selling them and now people are stuck with all these movies they cant watch so i was wondering if there is a tool out there that can break the code i also heard that they use some kind of software on them that it cant be copyed

  6. I believe snake plissken is referring to the now redundant "Divx" rental disc format as opposed to "DivX;-)" -- the MPEG-4 based video codec.

    I don't know if you can rip a Divx disc.

  9. That was years ago.

    Those movies shud be available in dvd....goto blockbuster if ur in the states.

    u have to have a c_city divx player or a divx/dvd player to play them. they had a 2-5 playback setting, then u had to call to reset counter. what a ripp-off.
