Hello everyone.
I have a 16:9 (608X336) .avi file that I burnt on a DVD as a data file and tried watching on my 4:3 TV.
My Divx player didn't create the letter box automatically so I've tried doing it manually, but it didnt help, the picture still looked stretched after I changed the settings, no letterbox.
I have a strong feeling that its not the dvd player fault, but mine. Could it be the fact that its a data file and not a dvd file?
My question is, assuming that I want to keep it as an avi file, what setting do I use when converting from 16:9 avi to 4:3 avi with a letterbox?
Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your comment Baldrick, but ive just solved it.
It was a matter of tweaking the dvd setup options. The default was on "fill the screen", so I just had to choose a dif setting.
