I'm a HUGE Rage Against the Machine fan, and I have 2 live videos that have crappy sound. I recently found separate audio sources for each one that are better quality, and I need someone to sync the better sound to the DVD. Must be someone who has done this before successfully. 1 audio source is FLAC and the other is 256 kbps mp3. I'll mail it to you, you fix the sound, and you mail back just the fixed copies.

As a reward when you're done, I'll send you 3 more live videos (at least 1 Rage and the rest your choice), should you choose to accept this mission. I have a lot to choose from, so if you're a Rage fan who's good at this stuff, here's a great opportunity to get 5 live DVDs.

I've tried it myself (failed), my friend has tried it (took 2 months for him to fail) and now I have to depend on the kindness of strangers.

    Try channeling Leibniz.

Well I know who he was but I was unaware of his connection with the phrase "Salva Veritate". Interesting. =O

Still doesn't solve my RATM problem.

Most come here to add advice or express a problem. Few ask for free labor even though it often turns that way. Will you paint my house if I solve your audio sync problem?

It's not free labor, the reward is roughly 4 hours of live footage, mostly Rage, 2 of the 7 shows are negotiable, and $20 cash. And I did some hard research and negotiations to get some of those DVDs.

'And if you fail, 8 hours of live footage' --- OK, you guessed, not my favourite band!

In the immortal words of John McEnroe - 'you cannot be serious!' -- to do this, with any degree of success, is going to need a combination of considerable technical skill, a lot of time, and a lot of luck.
Why would anyone try for $20 ?

Hey, the first time I asked for help in exchange for live shows I got it. He wasn't even a big Rage fan and he worked on it for 2 months (and came out on the other end with failure). I didn't even pay cash. Maybe lightning would strike twice?

How did he try to sync it up? What methods, tools, etc? I could probably do it with adobe audition but the reward doesn't seem worth it for such a time consuming task.

Some friendly advise to OP, next time try asking for help/tips, w/o offering a reward or any compensation..you would have gotten lots of help no doubt...JM2cents.....

Well I looked around for guides and asked for help/tips already, and I still can't do it. Believe me, I spent time on trying to fix it but no success.

Oh and good news, I've found someone who will do 2 DVDs so there's only 2 left.
