Quciktime movie for web streaming - what bitrate and quality?

I've just done a WMV(9) file for the web.
Its 320x240, 256Kbps.

I am wondering about creating a Quicktime MOV file. Same physical size, but the settings I am not sure of.
I created a larged sized movie with:
Quality 70%, 256Kbps, VideoFormat: Photo-JPG
It looks good but is a monster size.

If you use same bitrate it should be same size. What do you convert with ?

I would rather use h264 in the mov and convert with mpeg streamclip or quicktime pro.

I have Sony Vegas.
It does give me the option of H264, SORENSEN, PHOTO-JPG, PLANAR, MOTION JPG A-C, GRAPHICS, MPEG4, DVCPRO etc etc.

Just wondering which is best for web, and bitrate too.
