I've been fighting this coversion bit for 2 weeks now......![]()
I just want to know what is the best program to convert my mpeg-2 to mpeg-4 format?? I have an HDD SR200 Sony camcorder that records in mpeg-2, and I have Adobe Premiere Pro on my Macbook Pro (2 gigs of ram). isquint doesn't work.....it only converts the audio, mpeg streamclip doesn't work cause I don't have quicktime pro, VLC doesn't work.....it just let's me watch it, imovie won't work unless I get the $80 upgrade.
Please help.......I spent over a grand on my camcorder and accessories and can't utilize them the way I want.
Thanks,
Lucas

I don't get it. You spent a grand and can't afford Quicktime Pro? H.264? What will you do with the MPeg4?
I haven't looked a the new CS3 Premiere Pro for Mac but I'm sure that it has an MPeg4 export.
