I bought Roxio easy media Creator 9 deluxe suite... I thought I was going to beable to burn DVD's but evry movie I put in is protected. I'm hoping I can use the software to burn my LP's to CD. So it won't be a big waste!
    thanks

I think you'll find that you need to rip Movie DVDs to your hard drive to remove the encryption/copy protection, then burn the VIDEO_TS folder that the ripping process creates.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. Not trying to be a smart ass, but did you really think that software was going to let you copy commercial DVDs?

Personally, I think the short answer is Yes. If you paid for Roxio or Nero then you wasted your money. There are so many better options, either free or cheaper.
