    I am getting ready to load up the hard drives on my new HTPC.
    I want to put my dvds on but movie only without all the extra stuff...but also without compression. I used to use DVD2ONE to backup but I don't see any option to rip the movie without compression.
    What other software would you recommend?

    RipIt4Me or DVDFab HD Decrypter>DVD Shrink, no compression, just reauthor to main movie>Hard drive

    You may not need anything but Shrink for older DVDs.

    Works for me anyway. And it's all freeware.

    Thanks. I think I just figured out how to do it with DVD2ONE as well.

    Found a custom setting for the size.
