Well I have a newer computer and I put my capture card I had around. It is a pci ati 128 rage and I captures fine but I want to get a apg graphics card. Should I keep the capture caprd and use it for capture, or will a apg AIW capture any better

AGP is always better for the AIW (less compatibility issues than having all the video coming in on a separate pci card)

You may end up with driver hell using 2 vid cards on the same system, though. It may work just fine, or it may not.
Using a more recent AIW (ie AIW 7500 or 8500DV), you'll get both gaming and capture quality, for not much more than a standard 8500 or GF3. -
DUDE! You have it made but you don't know it yet.
Get an AGP card of your choice and use both it and your PCI AIW card. Just get a 2nd monitor so you will have one for each card. Then you can capture, watch TV, etc., on your PCI display and game etc. on your AGP display, and you'll have twice the screen real estate for video editing, web surfing, etc.
I've been using dual screens ever since the release of the original Win98 and I won't go back unless they pry my monitors out of my cold, stiff, dead fingers.
