I know there is now one definitive answer to which is the best DVD to DVDR copying software, but I wondered which software comes highly recommended?

Currently I use DVD Rebuilder (with 2 pass CCE) for large compressions, IE. 6GB to 7GB movies that need to be compressed down to 4.3GB - the quality is great but it takes ages. For smaller movies, 4.4GB to 6GB I generally use Intervideo's DVDCopy 4, it is fast.

What other software to forum readers use and recommend and why?

    Thanks guys.

I'd say Rebuilder would be rated fairly high for re-encoders. But it takes time. Otherwise DVD Shrink is probably still the most popular for transcoders. Using RipIt4Me or DVDFab HD Decrypter with Shrink and ImgBurn to burn are my tools of choice most times. Or just Shrink and ImgBurn for older DVDs.
