  3. Double click on the MTS file. Windows will tell you it doesn't know what program to use. Select "Select the program from a list", press OK. The "Open with" dialog should open with a list of possible programs.

If MPC is in the list pick it and put a checkmark in the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" option. Press OK.

If MPC isn't in the list use the Browse button and go to where you have MPC installed. Select the MPC program. Back at the Open With dialog put a checkmark in the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" option. Press OK.

  5. if you already have coreavc installed and registered. go into mpc options->external filters, then click "add filter...", locate coreavc video decoder and click ok, then click the "prefer" option. this should work.

  7. idk, why don't you give KMPlayer a try?

  8. I think the MTS file you are refering to has PAFF. If I remember correctly, the regular version of CoreAVC doesn't support PAFF, you need the pro version (and a recent one I believe). KMPlayer's built int AVC decoder doesn't support PAFF.

Also, be sure some other AVC decoder isn't decoding the video (I don't know any others that support PAFF). You can use GSpot to determine what codec is being used.

Thank you for your help. I had trouble downloading coreavc-- my firewall was on-
My problems with Media Player Classic and Microsoft player was that I had ffdshow loaded- once removed-- all is well
Now, Sony Picture Motion Browser does not work with Haalii running! I remove Haalii- it works
on another computer- with coreavc 1.3-without haalii-all works!?!
