Hi,
Trying to rip some episodes from an original dvd to my harddisk with as little loss of quality as possible.
Using dvdfab set to dvd9 (it says 100%) I've ripped an episode to vobfiles.
After that I used vob2mpg to covert the vobfiles to mpeg.
Is this rip to be considered lossless or did I loose some quality?

Ripit4me in Movie only mode if you don't need the menus.
DVD Decrypter in ISO mode, then mount the image with Alcohol or Daemon Tools = FULL Lossless Mode.
DVDFab may have stripped the region code - if you told it to. Otherwise, your's should be reasonably lossless.
ISO rips = full disc.;/ l ,[____], Its a Jeep thing,

To actually answer your question specifically, no, you did not lose any quality.Originally Posted by NurEinTier
