I'm sure this question has been asked a million times but I couldn't find a satisfactory answer on a search.
I've been using VirtualDub for a couple years to edit my home movies, video caps, etc.. but I want to go to a higher end software that can tile out faces/text, reverse selected frames of video so they play backward and forward, add transitions and effects, etc..
Please keep in mind that ease-of-use is paramount (the lower the learning curve the better) and cost isn't really an issue (unless its like in the thousands... LOL)
Any help will be very much appreciated.![]()

I would highly recommend Adobe's Premiere Pro (CS3 is the latest version).
The latest version works with either PC or MAC. -
Vegas is more intuitive to learn than Premiere Pro. Try the demos and review the available tutorial sites but neither is intended to be easy. They are for image control freaks.
Consider the Total Training DVD series for Premiere Pro.
